Surf any site, anytime, when you're out and about
Imagine how handy it would be to use your mobile to get onto Google, YouTube, Facebook, Hotmail, eBAY or even your favourite news or sport sites#. You'll be able to get online – on the train, at the beach, sitting in a café, or on a road trip.
How much does it cost?
For just $11.95 per month you get access to 100MB of data+.
Typically 100MB will get you around:
- 1000 web pages or
- 5 hours of video or
- 50 music tracks or
- 1000 emails
Will it work on my phone?
If your mobile has a web browser you can access the Internet#. To check if your handset has one, go to the menu and look for one of these icons:
How do I get it?
Simply add Internet on Your Mobile to your Contract or On Account Cap or Plan. Just go to Vodafone live! (it's free to browse) and click on the www page to sign up or head into your nearest store. You can also call 1555. Please note that Internet on Your Mobile isn't available on Prepay Caps unless you purchase an Extras Pack (see below).
How do I use it?
Once you're connected, open the web browser and start surfing. You can also access Internet on Your Mobile# through the Vodafone live! portal.
Can I just pay as I go to see if I like it?
Depending on what Cap or Plan you're on, you can try Internet On Your Mobile# and just pay for what you've used*.
Caps - Contract & On Account
If you are on a Contract or On Account Cap, you'll pay just 2 cents per KB with a minimum session of 15 KB.
Plans - Contract & On Account
If you are on a Contract or On Account Plan, you'll pay just 0.4 cents per KB with a minimum session of 15 KB.
Prepay Caps - You will need to purchase an Extras Pack for $5, $10 or $25 and you will then be charged $1 per 5 minute block for browsing (excludes Vodafone live! which is free to browse).
Prepay Plans - $1 per 5 minute block for browsing (excludes Vodafone live! which is free to browse).
Please note:
- Prepay Extras Packs will not expire as long as your Prepay service remains active.
- In order to use an Extras Pack, your main account credit must not have expired.
- If you're connected to a Prepay Plan, then these services are deducted from your Extras Pack first and then your main account.
#Vodafone Internet on Your Mobile subject to network availability and handset capabilities. 3G available in selected metro areas on 3G capable handsets. YouTube and Vodafone Mobile TV (and full track downloads) only available on 3G handsets in 3G areas. Customers with 2.5G capable handsets will only be able to access limited content.
